zDome consists of a vertically placed half sphere, two short throw projectors placed on both sides of the dome, and a computer. Rectangle videos and 360 degree or 180 degree virtual reality videos as well as dome masters are warped and edge blended to project to full images on the dome screen. The viewers can share the immersive experiences together on the same video at the same viewpoint unavailable with goggles.
